Lately I've been shifting where I focus my energy and how I spend my time. There's something about Spring (more than the new year for me) that makes me want to refresh my life a bit.
And as the weather warms up, I want to spend less time glued to my Netflix account and more time enjoying the outdoors. I want to be more present when I'm around friends and family, not a crazy lunatic addicted to their phone.
I don't know about you, but that last one in particular gives me a lot of guilt. Of course, it's not until afterwards that I realize that I've been zoning out of a particular conversation while finding the perfect VSCO filter for an image..which is something I'm definitely not proud of.
I know this isn't the first time I've talked about this, but it's something that I fall back so easily into. I'm hoping by sharing these photos of a recent trip out to Skyline Drive with our family, that I remind myself of what's important to me.
