This past year has definitely been one of my biggest years of growth...personal growth, business growth (I manage a few social media accounts on the side) and blog growth. I won't get too detailed into the first two today (although those posts will be coming soon!), but I wanted to talk about one of the biggest things I've done to help grow my blog...photography.
As a DC blogger, I've had the opportunity to work with a ton of incredible, local photographers, but I've made sure each of them carried the aesthetic I'm looking for without compromising their own style. Each one I've worked with has fun and unique things about them, but today I want to share about my good friend, Lauren of Lauren Louise Photography.
You may recognize that name from shoots I've done with her here and here! There are countless things I love about Lauren...at first glance, you know she does great work. She's done campaigns for a few of my favorite brands like Matine and Wylie Grey, and other bloggers I love like Alicia Tenise. She also does tons of weddings too in case you're in the market!
Lauren knows all about what bloggers need, which is also SO helpful when working on a tight deadline. She delivers photos within 24 hours, which is imperative when a post is due. She's also fantastic at offering guidance and direction when you're all, 'so what should I do next?' Or maybe that's just me. ;) And then best of all, her imagery is flawless. I know that's a BIG word, but guys, I loved every image she shot of this campaign. Narrowing it down was the hardest part! If you're a blogger looking to work with a professional photographer in the DC area, I'd highly recommend Lauren. You can see her special blogger packages here!
I'd love to share more ways I've invested into the blog if that's something you'd be interested in. Tweet me or comment below if you'd be into that!
PS - a little about this outfit: You may remember this little black dress (it's on sale!) from this post. It's quickly moved it's way to the front of my closet because I'm always reaching for it - for work, for date night, everything. I'm actually thinking about wearing it to my 10 year high school reunion next month! THAT'S how much I love it. And this pink coat from Rent the Runway is perfect for those 40-60 degree Spring temps! I wore it every day of the rental period and thinking I might need to add it to my permanent collection!
