When I go to work during the week, I’m wearing one of two looks:
Minimalist Tomboy, complete with wide leg culottes or midi skirt, flat loafers, and day 3 or 4 hair that’s messy chic (likely, just messy) with some makeup if I’ve managed to put on my eyeliner straight on the bus coming in.
My second look is some variation of all black and white. I have an overabundance of white blouses and it’s become a bit of a uniform for me.
On the weekends? Anything goes. Sometimes I’ll don a flowy dress in the warmer months, or a miniskirt with oversized sweater and boots in the cooler months.
But - no matter the season, you will 100% ALWAYS find me wearing jeans and a tee.
A combo so simple, yet wonderful at the same time.
I wore this look to get my hair done a few weeks ago at PR at Partners, and ended up MATCHING with my friend Ashlyn! Legit - same tee, ripped jeans, black loafers! You can’t make this stuff up. What can I say? We know a good tee when we see one.
If you’re local to DC, Calvin Klein opened a new underwear store in Georgetown filled with comfortable pieces perfect for any weekend. I snagged a bunch of great pieces here last time I was there, including this hoodie!
AND - one more DC thing - have you guys been to Fruitive before? OMG. It’s amazing. I’d seen people post photos there, and honestly, I was like, great another smoothie spot. I have felt guilty EVERY SINCE VISITING because it is not just a smoothie spot - they have the most incredible avocado toast (pictured) and acai bowls and just like, the cutest little spot in City Center. If you haven’t been, I’d HIGHLY recommend!! Please tag me when you do so I can live vicariously through you!
