When the temps are low and your spirits are lower (just me over here with Seasonal Affective Disorder orr...?) it's easy to get into a rut on the weekends. I'll be totally transparent. Much of our Sundays are spent under a heated blanket binge watching the latest new series on Netflix. I'm not proud of that. But it's what's been happening.
But when I was going through some old photos the other day, I remembered a time last year that our friends at Moki Media got a bunch of friends together and went hiking on a cooler day. It was by far one of the most fun I've had in a weekend in a LONG time.
Everyone geared up in their warmest Filson attire, and we all took a bus to the Billy Goat Trail (not too far outside of DC.) After a few hours hiking, we enjoyed a little brunch (and got back all our calories) at Old Angler's Inn! Makes me want to get outside this weekend, how about you?
Wearing Filson sweater (similar here and here on sale) and scarf, blue tee (old, similar) 7FAM jeans, Fossil watch, VASQUE hiking boots
Thanks to Moki Media for hosting and Laura Metzler for some of the photos featured!
