I love finding pieces that transition with me through seasons. You see, I don’t like change. (UNLESS it means winter is turning to spring then I’m all about it.) So it’s reassuring to take items with me from summer to fall and then try to sneak them into winter whenever I can. Plus, I always want to get the biggest bang for my buck.
The star of today’s show is most definitely this cashmere scarf. It’s so versatile and soooooo soft. It’d be perfect over my shoulders at a summer wedding but will keep your neck cozy (not sweaty) in the cooler months.
A little about this scarf - it has hand-spun by master weavers in the Kashmir Vally in India. When finished, each weaver embroiders their initials on the scarf. Buying one of these scarves ensures safe working conditions and continued support for their craft and independence. You can find out more about the women who make these scarves here!
Since the holidays are right around the corner (LITERALLY there are only 11 more days until Christmas ahhh!), I've curated a little shop with To the Market to share my very favorite finds from there! And you can read an interview with YOURS TRULY over on their site to find out about where I draw my inspiration and the one thing I always bring when I travel! Also I'll be taking over their Instagram this week! So be sure to head over to their Insta profile (@letsgottm) and give them a little follow to see what we're up to!
