If you've been following along on the Instagram page, you'd know I just returned from a glorious trip to Paris a few weeks ago! It was a whirlwind dream of croissants, pastries, museums, baguettes, and lots and lots of coffee.
But just because I have to return home doesn't mean I can't bring some of that lifestyle back with me! I'm not ready to let go the ease of having a quick espresso on my way to a museum or enjoying a decaf latte after a long day. I shouldn't have to let go.
Thanks to Nespresso, I don't have to give up that lifestyle. They just released a new espresso machine that has revolutionized my morning routine. Meet the Nespresso Essenza Mini.
I love this machine for countless reasons. First being, it's ease of use. I don't have time to grind the beans, measure the espresso, tamp the ground beans just right, pull the shot - that's just not realistic for my 'need to get ready in a half hour so I make it to the bus in time' lifestyle. All I need to do is pick my poison (there are a ton of different varieties of espresso capsules!) and put it into the machine. I press a button (you can choose between an espresso size and a larger size, lungo) a voila - perfect espresso shot ready in less time than it takes me to brush my teeth.
Another reason I'm smitten with this particular design? It's minimal and SMALL. To be honest, I just don't have room on my counter for a big machine. This so seamlessly fits into our home aesthetic without taking up much space. It comes in 5 different colors (white, black, grey, lime green and red), so whether you're a minimalist like me or have more eclectic interior home design, it'll fit right in. Plus, it's just 4 inches wide, making it the perfect size for any city girl's home. At only 5 pounds, it's lightweight enough to store away if need-be (or move around the kitchen if you're a habitual re-organizer like me!)
My husband and I first fell in love with Nespresso when we were in Rome 5 years ago on our honeymoon. We popped into their boutique location there, and when they offered us an espresso to drink while we browsed, I knew I was a goner. It was so smooth and rich. I enjoy my espresso shots most with sugar and a little cream, but if you have an Aeroccino, it also makes a great latte.)
Are you looking for an easy way to enjoy some high-end coffee in the mornings while helping streamline your morning routine? I'd highly recommend the Nespresso Essenza Mini. To be honest, we've been using a Nespresso machine for years. It's the highest quality coffee I can enjoy in the quickest amount of time in the mornings. Our old machine is still running smoothly (after 5 years), but this new model is a much better fit for our limited counter space.
Because the Nespresso Essenza Mini is a better fit in our kitchen, we've moved our older, larger Nespresso machine to our guest room upstairs. That way, when people visit, they can have their caffeine fix RIGHT away! When we visited Archer Hotel in NYC, they had an espresso machine in our room and it was such a nice touch that we decided to implement in our own home! (Also selfishly hoping that saying this encourages more family and friends to come visit us haha!)
Have you used a Nespresso machine before? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
