Today's post continues my adoration for beautiful lace dresses, and in particular, this lace one by Shoshanna from Rent the Runway. It has sort of become my thing without me even realizing it. In looking through my closet the other day, 80% of my dressier frocks are LACE. It's classic, it's romantic, yet still feels so fresh with it's silhouette.
Midi length dresses are my favorite right now and I've been looking to add a few more to my closet. Don't tell the hubby. ;)
I wore this blush dress for a wedding in the Virginia countryside and paired it with my favorite Jeffrey Levinson evening clutch. This cracked marble one has seriously stolen my heart, and by the responses I received on Instagram, many of yours as well! Celebrities all over have been spotted with it - Chrissy Teigan (my hero), Adriana Lima, Elizabeth Hurley, and most recently, the ORIGINAL WONDER WOMAN, Lynda Carter. A few of his bags are selling on Moda 'Operandi, but you'll have to contact them directly for a wider range of their products!
And because one bag is never enough, I also brought my basket bag to hold my sweater and camera. This bag has been one of my favorite affordable summer purchases - I take it to every farmers market and have used it on occasion as a backdrop for my flatlays. ;)
A fun little note - today is my birthday!! (If you missed this post from YEARS ago, I shared 26 things you might not know about me!) Got to live that 9-5 life first, then going out to eat with the hubby. Then this weekend we're off to Boston to visit my Papou! Be sure to follow along on Instagram for all the fun!
