A few weeks ago, I wrote about the 5 dresses you need for summer, and I wanted to share one of my favorites from the list…this French Connection beauty.
I’d been on the hunt for an easy breezy dress that I could wear on multiple occasions. Versatility is a major key to anything I add into my closet. It needed to be modest enough for church, but one that I could also pair with heeled sandals for date night. One that was simple, but not basic. One that felt on-trend but not trendy. And one that was comfortable and felt good against my skin.
This dress checks EVERY. SINGLE. BOX. I’ve worn it approximately 45930430493024 times since it arrived in my mailbox. This, and white dresses in general, have been SUCH summer staples for me.
This one came with me to Virginia Beach where I wore it as a cover up, and also out to dinner that evening at Esoteric. The embroidered detailing on the sleeve is so classic, but also on-trend. It hits right above my knee (my happy length) and is loose enough for me to eat my weight in donuts without anyone knowing.
As I prep and pack for our upcoming trip to Paris in a few weeks, I’ve been eying a few other French Connection dresses. Shop my favorites of the moment, and let me know if you spot any I *need* for the trip!
