I love a good style challenge.
You can’t wear a crop top to work! Watch me.
You shouldn’t wear a slouchy jumpsuit to the office. I will find a way.
Now I’m trying something that’s not exactly on-trend (yet) but that I just needed to explore. Wearing a bow tie.
My hubby got this one a few months ago from our fave tie guy, Diego from Bull+Moose. I’d been in love with it since I discovered the line and had to buy it for my hubs. He wore it (adorably, I might add) but I wanted to give him a run for his money. Maybe we post a ‘who wore it better’ segment on here soon, yes? ;)
I threw on my favorite J. Crew hacking blazer, and a more feminine skirt to *TIE* the look together (see what I did just there???)
I must say, having my shirt buttoned all the way was a little uncomfortable, but I got so many compliments on it that I would totally do wear it again. Plus, Bull+Moose is a local company based out of Alexandria and supports veteran charities, which I’m all about - especially since tomorrow is Veteran’s Day! I’m totally swooning over their latest collection that just launched last week and dying to snag one for my hubby for Christmas! You can get 25% for Veteran's Day using code: vetsday
What do you think of the look? Should I continue finding ways to style a bow-tie or leave it to the boys? I want to hear your thoughts in the comment section below!
