Met up with my good friend Jahns a few weeks back to introduce him to one of my favorite new restaurants in Clarendon, Ambar. I often find myself blending in with my surroundings so I sported my bohemian blouse from Sanctuary, Old Navy midi skirt (seen here and here!) with my M.Gemi flats.
I was having a bad hair day, so right before I left the office, I found this pretty blue ribbon that matched my shoes! Threw it in, and it turned out to be my favorite part of the look!
Anyway, when we arrived at Ambar, Jahns was just as smitten with the space as I was. There’s the most gorgeous hanging plants all over the restaurant with TONS of natural light flooding in. We got to work right away with the flatly with his oh-so-aesethically-pleasing camera.
In case you were wondering, the food is equally as good as it looks. My favorite dish is the cheese pie, and the little cornbread treats they give you before you eat are equally as tasty while you’re waiting on your food. I’m craving them as I type this!
Afterwards, we found a field of flowers in the middle of the city. And by we, I mean Jahns, who saw a small row of daffodils and created the prettiest optical illusion I’ve ever seen.
